When it comes to fulfilling post-sale obligations, discontinuation appears to be date at which the factory first indicated they wouldn't be making any more. When they're trying to sell stock then discontinuation appears to be the point at which they haven't got any more. Doesn't surprise me that Intro2020 would do this though, probably taking into account that there's a certain ambiguity about when the date of discontinuation actually was. Pity about Intro2020 since they were the main European distributor for Bronica and had a decent Bronica trained specialist engineer from Japan I guess they chose not to fulfil the conventional but probably not legally required ten year period after discontinuation. They do list Bronica among the brands repaired, and there is a facility to get an estimate before you send it. The Intro2020 website refers those wanting Bronica repairs to another company called Eurohitech (in west London, who appear to be a general repair and parts supply source.
